TOYS OF THE 70's & 80's
PLANET OF THE APES
Planet of the Apes (or POTA to fans) was a 70s blockbuster for toy marketing. Based on a French novel by Pierre Boulle, the classic 1968 film was written by Rod Serling of Twilight Zone fame. Mego bought licensing rights for toys and made a ton of great figures and playsets. Addar, a successor company to Aurora made some fantastic model kits, too.
STAR WARS
Star Wars is more than a film, it's a collecting phenomenon. It's a toy lover's dream to have displays like the ones shown in the vintage store photos below. If you have Star Wars toys for sale, contact me!
THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN - BIONIC MAN
Colonel Steve Austin, The Six Million Dollar Man, is one of the kings of 1970s adventure. Kenner made a full line of Bionic man sets, including Oscar Goldman, Bigfoot, the Bionic Woman, Maskatron, and more.
